I long while back, I wrote about how Rick Springfield was returning to General Hospital and how cool is would be if Robert Scorpio returned at some point. I’m happy to note that good old Tristan Rogers showed up earlier this year, and now appears to be on a little more consistently. And he’s not alone: both Emma Samms (reprising her role as the cute but opportunistic Holly) and Finola Hughes (as the beautiful and deadly Anna) have also made appearances for May sweeps (and Holly was also around earlier in the year, too). Unfortunately, Anna’s stay is apparently only for a short time (which is too bad, since time has been much kinder to her than to the others).

I was thinking that it would have been really cool to have both John Reilly and Sharon Wyatt back, too: as Sean and Tiffany, they were also part of all the hijinks of the early 80s General Hospital crew. Image my surprise that they are both on NBC’s soap, Passions. Even more surprising, the Sci-Fi Channel also shows Passions. But that’s a rant for another time.

Thanks to Tivo, I can run through a week’s worth of General Hospital in about an hour: I can fast-forward through all the boring stuff with characters I don’t give a crap about and get to the good stuff.
