It’s day four of my having the flu, despite getting a flu shot. This is also the first time I feel badly enough to miss work (I telecommuted as much as I could the other days, to protect my co-workers).

Luckily, Friday is filled with happiness and joy on the net. Here are a few of the places I try to visit on Fridays.

• Dan Century’s Friday Fun: There’s always a few things that make me do spit takes (which, by the way, really hurt when your throat is sore).
• DVD Verdict: On Fridays. DVD Verdict reviews movies that are bad. Who’s That Girl bad.
• Something Awful’s Oregon Trail 2090: Heh.
• Toys ‘R’ Us wins suit against Amazon.com: Yes, I thought this was funny.
• Comics Should Be Good is starting a Nine Things I Read This Week feature. That blog is also home to the always fascinating Comic Book Urban Legends Revealed.
