Four Things, the Alternate Version

Always happy to answer semi-personal questions on my blog. Thanks, Dan!

Four awful jobs I’ve had:

  1. Burger King (Fry cook, burger tosser, cashier)
  2. Temporary file clerk at Merrill-Lynch. They wouldn’t give me a badge to come and go as I pleased, so I was pretty much locked up in an office for 8 hours a day
  3. My first contract job at AT&T (I was told it was a technical writing position, but it was really being some dickweed’s secretary)
  4. Warehouse worker at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. I worked in a dirty warehouse and was told I had to wear non-T-shirts and slacks. Oh, and I worked with an idiot (not including the lawyers).

Four movies that made me want to leave the theater:

  1. Liquid Sky
  2. All Star Wars movies after The Empire Strikes Back
  3. Star Trek: Nemesis (much much worse than Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)
  4. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King; not sure what was worse, the multiple endings or the way too long running time

Four places I’ve slept that had a pest control problem:

  1. A Days Inn hotel room in Arizona
  2. Boy Scout camp
  3. College apartment
  4. College dorm room

Four TV shows that have theme songs that I’ve heard so many times that hearing them now is like fingers on a blackboard:

  1. Law and Order (any version)
  2. That 70s Show
  3. Pokemon
  4. Mystery Science Theater 3000, I hate to say

Four places I have scars:

  1. Chin
  2. Ear
  3. Lower back
  4. Upper Thigh (had a cyst in there that could have been an alien implant)

Four foods I’ve eaten that have made me sick:

  1. Taco Bell tacos
  2. A really bad batch of wheat bread at Bennigan’s
  3. A vegetarian salad (should have ordered it without the egg)
  4. Beets

Four websites I’m ashamed to say I’ve visited recently:

  1. The Middle Earth Collectible Card Game site
  2. Sexy Album Covers
  3. Periodic Table of the Elements
  4. Hollywood Tuna

Four places I wouldn’t rather be right now:

  1. Getting a colonoscopy
  2. Cleaning the cat litter box
  3. In a meeting
  4. In any Midwestern state
