Already got the Franken books! Make sure you read my new series over on Spandex Justice: Toys I Wish I Still Had. Methinks the good silver knight will be making an appears somewhere along the way. Plus, you can correct my errors. :)

When you said "O'Reilly books," I was really scared for a minute. I was ready to send you Michael Moore's "Dude, Where's My Country," and an assortment of works by Al Franken.

The only action figure in my office is Sir Stuart, of the Marx Noble Knight series (actually, a reissue). I can't play with him because the reissue box stated that it was "not a toy." I do have a number of completed Lego sets, though, including the Red Baron, the Sopwith Camel, the Apollo lunar module and a BNSF locomotive.

The thing you fished out of the trash looked familiar to me. I believe it is a model of the alternate video streaming room/generator-looking thing from the final fight scenes in the movie "Serenity," a movie my son (your now 21-year-old namesake) forced me to watch. Those exchanges in that room between Mal and the unranked, unnamed operative (1) made me think of the "Star Wars" battle between Luke and Darth Vader, only without light sabers and (2) disappointed me because no one lost an arm or ended up at the bottom of that generator-looking thing. Anyway, I think it belongs with your dolls ... er, action figures.
