Sort of a potpourri of various mammal, dinosaur and pet stories this week.
Pets
- Eggheads Invent Tele-Petting : If I could pet my dogs and cats all day, I think I would.
- Social Petworking: Dog Walks Get Wired: Finally, my dogs can get IP addresses. And if a scriptkiddie tries a denial of service attack, they’ll just get eaten.
Odd Life Form News
- Stegosaur Plates And Spikes For Looks Only, Researchers Say: That’s total crap. We all know what those plates are for: Kryptonian Plasma Televisions.
- Louisiana’s frozen ark: Yay, now we can just let all the endangered species die, then clone them! Yay, progress!
- Super Water Kills Bugs Dead : They always say this stuff doesn’t have any side effects. But then the mutants come.
- ‘First platypus’ still intact: I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for monotremes.
