Just watched the supposed Sasquatch video shot in Manitoba and featured on the TV show A Current Affair. Very disappointing. Shot at long range using a video camera with cranked up magnification, the video revealed nothing exciting or interesting. It could have been Bigfoot, sure. It could have been a bear. It could have been a guy in a dark coat. I was thinking about putting up some screen grabs, but there just isn’t any point, the footage was that bad.
I suspect that those who believe that a Bigfoot creature exists will use this tape to justify their beliefs, despite it being so vague and blurry. I’m sure they’ll run various digital image samplers on it (that will really just enhance the already significant noise on the tape) and claim that “humans and bears just don’t do that.” But the truth is that this video, like the Face on Mars, is just a big Rorschach test: you will see what you want to see.
