Here’s some of the weird science and psuedo-science related news for the week, along with some other weird links:
Science
- Headless Flies Controlled By Lasers: You know, a tinfoil beanie would have helped those flies.
- MIT makes plastic that changes shape in light: There must be some super-heroic use for this.
- Whale-dolphin mix baby born: Wow.
Pseudo-Science: All Bigfoot Edition!
- The Bigfoot Discovery Project: Amusing Bigfoot poetry in the upper right of the page. Man, when I was a kid, I really thought Bigfoot was real.
- Info About the Patterson/Gimlin Bigfoot Film
- The Making of Bigfoot: A book debunking the Patterson/Gimlin film
- A skeptical look at the above book.
Other Weirdness
- Saved By The Bell continuity.: I used to wake up early Saturday mornings to watch the Batman and Superman animated shows. As a result, I also ended up watching a lot of other shows. It’s a wonder my brain isn’t mush.
