Here’s some of the weird science and psuedo-science related news for the week:
Science
- James Randi’s Commentary for the Week: I love James Randi: he’s always got some good common sense to share.
- Mammoth Remains Unearthed in California: a fairly complete fossil is a great find.
- Shuttle Discovery as photographed from the International Space Station
Psuedo-Science
- UFO Symposium in New Mexico: I used to live near Aztec, where the symposium was held. In fact, I used to live in the drunk driving capital of the world. Maybe the aliens were picking up a six-pack?
- Uri Gellar Bends a Tennis Racket: you’d think that with all the amazing powers these folks supposedly have that the world would be a better place by now. But no, instead we get bent sporting goods.
- Strange life forms or a landing base?: I love India Daily. It’s like normal stories mixed in with silliness about UFOs, aliens, etc.
